The Log Basket is a small, family-run business with a home office. We work in isolated workshops, where we produce all of our goods and pack all orders ourselves. We are therefore able to keep our online shop open and can continue to process and pack your purchases in line with government advice. We are strictly adhering to all guidelines, to ensure the safety and health of our customers and ourselves.
The majority of customer orders are dispatched via a courier service – this will be able to continue whilst DPD remain operating. DPD are continuing to implement new plans in response to the Coronavirus situation in the UK following advice issued by HM Government. Their delivery process is as follows (26/03/20): 'Contact free delivery - We have added to our contact free delivery process recognising that some people may be self-isolating and unwilling or unable to open their door to receive parcels. Customers can download the DPD app and set their delivery preferences to leave in a safe place. Without the app, customers can leave a note on their front door telling us where to leave their parcel and our drivers will take a photo. Without the leave in a safe place instruction, our drivers will not deliver the parcel.'
Smaller orders (single bundles of Log Wall Tiles, Skulls and Log Deer for example) placed with The Log Basket are often dispatched via Royal Mail. We will be able to continue with this option whilst their services remain operational: ‘Signing for and receiving items: In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we are minimising contact during delivery. We will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures but instead log the name of the person accepting the item. Additionally, for all customers where we need to deliver any item that won’t fit through your letterbox, we will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.'

We are currently able to supply most of our products within just a few days, however this may change depending upon stock levels, any further advice issued by the government and of course our delivery partners. If at any time we should need to temporarily close our workshops, you will still be able to place your orders online with us and we will fulfil them as soon as we are able. We will keep you updated by communicating with you via the email address you provided when you placed your order.
